Celestora works out the sky itself. Planet positions, the ascendant, houses and aspects come from an ephemeris compiled into the app and written in plain Dart, and its tests check the output against six documented astronomical events, including two total solar eclipses. The chart wheel draws the twelve sectors, a degree scale, the planets at their longitudes and the aspect lines, and any glyph can be tapped for an explanation.

Readings come from the provider your user picks, which receives the calculated chart lines as input. Around that sit a compatibility view with two charts on one wheel, a daily tarot card that flips in 3D, a moon calendar, current transits and a birth form with 186 bundled cities. The styling is starlight gold on midnight, with arched card shapes.

Where do the planet positions come from?

From an ephemeris that runs inside the app in Dart. The AI provider only writes the interpretation of a chart the app has already calculated.

What works before a key is added?

Demo mode is on from the start and writes readings on the device from the calculated chart, so every screen responds to any birth data. Live readings use Gemini, OpenAI or Claude with a key you or your users supply.
