Patinora — Flutter AI Coin Identifier App with Laravel Key Proxy

Know the coin. Keep the album.

Patinora — Flutter AI Coin Identifier App with Laravel Key Proxy

The live preview on CodeCanyon is this app compiled for the web: the real build, not a video.

Photograph heads, then tails, and the coin comes back attributed: country, denomination, year and mint mark. Drop it into an album page of round wells, check its weight and diameter against published specs, and grade it from a worksheet you fill in yourself. Everything stays on the phone, and a Laravel key proxy is included for when you want the AI to run on your server.

What it does well

from the app

Heads, then tails, then a slab

Two round reticles take the obverse and the reverse. The result arrives as a graded-holder style card with the country, denomination, year and mint mark on the label, and up to three alternatives when the model is not sure.

Each album is a board of round wells generated from a year range and the mint marks you collect. Filled wells show the coin in its metal color, empty wells show the year you are still missing, and the header counts wells filled.

Type the weight and diameter from your scale and caliper. A balance beam and two concentric circles show how far the coin sits from the published specification, computed on the phone. The grade worksheet turns your own wear observations into a Sheldon band.

In the box

from the shipped zip
  • Full Flutter source in patinora_ai_app/, no obfuscation and no licence server
  • Offline HTML documentation: setup, re-theming, app name and bundle id, troubleshooting
  • The back end, with full source: Laravel key proxy for the AI providers
  • Back-end setup notes for Docker and for shared hosting
  • A one-page landing site for the app, ready to host

Run it after download

the app
# unzip the download, then
$ cd patinora_ai_app
$ flutter pub get
$ flutter run

The app runs on its bundled demo data first. The back end has its own README for Docker and for shared hosting, and the app keeps working without it.

Questions

Something else? Ask on the item's CodeCanyon page; the author answers there.

Does it need an account or a server?

Only for identification. Coins, photos, grades and notes live in the phone's encrypted store and every other screen works offline. The included Laravel key proxy only forwards AI calls, so your keys stay on your server and your collection never leaves the phone.

Does it tell me what a coin is worth or whether it is genuine?

It stays out of prices and authentication on purpose. The AI returns attributes only. The bench compares your measurements with published mint specifications and reports the difference, and the grade comes from a worksheet you fill in. Prices and authentication are left to dealers and grading services.

Can I move to a new phone?

Yes. Settings copies the whole ledger to the clipboard as JSON, the same envelope the app stores, so paste it into the new phone and every coin, album, grade and note comes back exactly. Photos stay on the device they were taken on.
