Skinora — Flutter AI Skincare Ingredient Analyzer App Template

Point the camera at a label: the model only transcribes it, and a bundled ingredient table on the phone explains each name.

Skinora — Flutter AI Skincare Ingredient Analyzer App Template

The live preview on CodeCanyon is this app compiled for the web: the real build, not a video.

Skinora is a Flutter app for reading the back of a skincare bottle. A photo, a pasted list or a typed barcode goes in; each ingredient comes out in printed order with its role in the formula. The AI provider has one narrow job, turning the photo into text. Everything said about an ingredient comes from a table of 634 entries that ships inside the app, so the explanation on screen always has a source you can point to.

Around that core sit three more tools a beauty app usually wants: a two-column morning and evening routine checked against rules kept in data, a shelf that counts down each product's period-after-opening, and an optional skin log laid out as a monthly filmstrip. Demo mode is on from the first launch, so every screen can be explored on a phone before anyone enters a key.

Features

  • Ingredient lookup from a photo, pasted text or a typed barcode, kept in label order
  • A bundled table of 634 ingredients with function classes following the EU CosIng database
  • Unknown names show as a clearly marked gray row instead of a guessed match
  • Morning and evening routine columns checked by rules stored as JSON, each finding naming its ingredients
  • A product shelf sorted by time left on the period-after-opening symbol
  • Optional skin log with a month-at-a-glance filmstrip; photos are discarded once the reply arrives
  • Bring-your-own-key support for three AI providers over plain REST, with model names editable in Settings
  • Ten distinct error states written in plain language, with a Settings shortcut where it helps
  • API keys kept in Keychain or EncryptedSharedPreferences; light and dark themes from one token file

Who it is for

  • You are launching a skincare, beauty or personal-care app and want a finished product to rebrand, not a screen kit.
  • You want AI in the product, but you need to explain to users exactly where each fact on screen came from.
  • You plan to extend the ingredient data yourself and want a build step that catches bad rows.

Questions

Something else? Ask on the item's CodeCanyon page; the author answers there.

Do I need an AI provider key to try it?

No. Demo mode is switched on in the shipped build and decodes the sample shelf through the real matcher on the device. When you are ready, paste a key for one of the three supported providers in Settings.

Does Skinora give skin or medical advice?

No. It describes what each ingredient does in a formula and flags routine combinations worth a second look. It does not score products, name conditions or replace a dermatologist, and the app says so.

How do I add ingredients to the table?

Add rows to the CSV and run the included script. It stops the build if a row has a missing or unknown function, or repeats a name already in the table.
